The previous best, set last year, was 183 hours.
The 40‑year‑old Kraków native, who works as a physiotherapist in Florida, launched the attempt on 2 May in Rio Claro, Brazil.
He live‑streamed progress to followers and said the feat is a tune‑up for an even bigger challenge: a 50‑times Ironman starting in late June in Illinois.
Next goal: 50 × Ironman in 45 days
Czabański said he aims to cover 175 km of swimming, 9,000 km on the bike and a 2,210 km run within 45 days—beating the official 30‑× time limit for the distance.
“Years of sacrifice, thousands of training hours—this is only the beginning,” he wrote on Instagram.
Growing Polish ultra scene
Poland has become a powerhouse in extreme triathlon, producing record‑holders in the double‑, quintuple‑ and deca‑Ironman distances. Czabański’s performance shaved roughly 13 hours off the previous mark set at the same Brazilian event.
He now joins an elite roster of athletes attempting multi‑weeks‑long “continuous” triathlons that test human endurance far beyond Ironman’s traditional 226‑km format.
